The State of the Market

Join us as we kick off the New Year with our on line SMT format.   Our first meeting of the year will kick off with a double dose of market analysis.  Tom Beckman, SMT Member, will begin the evening with a Stock Market Update: What are the best performing indicators, and where we are now in the over-/under/valued cycle, breadth indicators, and gauging the impact of news on the market.

Our Second presenter is Dennis A. Kranyak, SMT President.  Dennis will also review the state of the market, but based on his eight charts that he looks at to determine market state and direction.  He will go into detail regarding how some of his indicators are constructed, in particular his Score Chart (available at UnRulyDog.com) to see if we are overbought, oversold or in a state where the market can go higher or lower.

Dennis will also cover one of his recent option trades, and why using a chart helped him both enter and exit the trade.
