Anatomy of a Crash
Join us for a special meeting as the AAII DC Metro Chapter hosts a Saturday morning presentation. Your SMT Board of Trustees strives to maintain a good working relationship with other investment groups in the DC area, and we were able to help the AAII DC Metro Chapter out this month when they ran into a venue issue. The meeting will run from 9:30 AM through 11:30 AM. Se the AAII DC Metro Chapter Website for additional topic information (aaiidcmetro.com/meetings.htm#March%2021,%202020)
Then join us for our regular monthly April meeting when Dennis A. Kranyak, SMT President, will present an overview of the MACD indicator (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) for the basic topic
David Schultz of SectorVue will be covering the advance topic in April with a most appropriate topic: Anatomy of a Crash – market indicators that work in bullish and bearish markets- especially this one. Shifting gears- how to manage your portfolio and protect your assets in both up and down markets. Building portfolios to withstand Earthquakes and Hurricanes. Back and Forth- trading strategies to take advantage of market volatility.
Mr. Schultz provides market research and economic analysis to Investment Advisors and professional investors and may be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you at the April meeting and the special meeting Saturday, both at Zoom online!
Starting in January 2020, SMT meetings went 100% online, using Zoom.com for both our monthly meetings (the first Thursday of each month), and supplemental meetings, as determined by our membership. The first online meeting was a great success with almost two dozen participants from seven states and the District of Columbia (DC). We encourage watch parties, but in the future presenters will have to be at their own computer, not presenting from a watch party.
The video of the February 2020 meeting has been posted on the web site for SMT members.
