Rockville, MD  20852

 Main Presentation Speaker:

Dennis A. Kranyak, SMT President

The State of the Market, AIM, Selling Covered Calls, and Trading XIV.

Join us for our September 2016 meeting when current SMT President Dennis A. Kranyak will cover four topics:  a market update based on his eight unique charts; an Automatic Investment Management (AIM) program update; using his Score indicator to time the sale of covered calls; and using Linda Bradford Raschke’s “The “ANTI” Stochastic to Trade XIV.

Prior to the meeting, Dennis will be on Carolann Brown’s radio show on WCRN News Talk Radio AM 830 from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 8, 2016.  For those outside the Boston area, you can listen to the show live on line by going to and clicking on the “Listen Live” icon on the upper right of the home page.  Be sure to allow for some time to set up your computer prior to the start of the broadcast.  Carolann will be our speaker at our October 2016 meeting.

A reminder, our meeting will be held in the downstairs social hall and we will have high speed WiFi available.

If you missed any of our meetings since June 5th, 2014, members can log on to the SMT web site and view the video of the meeting presentation in addition to downloading the presentation. Go to the “Members Only” menu tab, then select “Presentation Videos”

SMT logo coffee mugs will be available for purchase at the meeting, $5 for members, $7.50 for non-members.  If you are a member and have not picked up your SMT lapel pin, see Sondra Katz at the meeting.

The SMT Board of Trustees will NOT hold a meeting prior to Thursday evening’s presentation.

Your SMT Board of Trustees is looking for a member to volunteer to be our Librarian.  Vas Madhava has done a fantastic job over the past few years as our librarian and enabled us to list all of our library holdings on our web site.  Doing this has allowed us to greatly simplify the job of the SMT Librarian. Vas would like to step down, and we are looking for an interested member to assume these duties.  If you are interested, contact anyone of your SMT Board members or to volunteer or get additional information.

Hope to see you September 8th!
